Windows Movie Maker
is a basic video creating/editing software included in Microsoft
Windows.
It contains features such
as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline
narration, and Auto Movie.
This is a simple program
to learn for your own use and to teach to students with star-studded
results. For
any subject in any grade
level, Movie Maker can be used to add “wow” to lessons by making
still photos into
films with special
effects, music, and narration. By including video, projects made
with Movie Maker add
personality and style to
any presentation. The products made can be played on computers, or
burned onto
DVD’s to play in any DVD
player. Students are so proud when they become “producers”—you can
be too!
This course will cover the
basics of using Movie Maker and explore more advanced possibilities
for existing
users.
