Historical museum education programs which include "hands on" learning activities as appropriate to 19th century living skills.
Workshops and special events are announced throughout the year.

Volunteers are needed to assist with special programs for schools and other groups and as museum docents.
Additional Information
The museum house was originally built to serve as a tavern in the 19th century. The rooms are furnished to portray living history throughout the century. The museum property includes extensive grounds with period flower beds, raised bed vegetable garden, blacksmith shop, one room schoolhouse, wood shop, candle shop, a 19th century barn, farm animals, a 19th century cemetery, and a newly added nature trail.
