Services Provided

Provides programs for more than 450 disabled individuals and families; has been involved in the provision of services to the mentally retarded citizens of the county since 1954; services expanded to include programs for adults including a Sheltered Workshop Program, a Community Residence Program for adults, a Day Treatment Program for adults, Family Support/Counseling Services, Supported Work Program, and a Respite home to provide families with opportunities for vacation/leisure time. Can assist disabled students with adaptive equipment and technological devices for use at home. Employs over 340 staff members.

We welcome the expressed concerns of teachers, community residents, and students who are interested in programs for people with developmental disabilities or who seek employment opportunities. Respite services available on weekends.
