Hours of Operation
24 hour telephone service for emergencies; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday for appointments. Evening appts. arranged.
Services Provided
Domestic violence educational information and speakers; referrals to lawyers, mental health, etc.; advocacy for courts/entitlements/housing; child care during meetings and appointments for clients; women's support groups; children's program; individual counseling for domestic violence victims; residential services.
Public assistance pays for eligible persons.

Comments: Sliding schedule for residential services in three apartments; based on ability to pay. No charge for non-residential services.

Additional Information
All volunteers required to participate in twelve hours of training if they are to have client contact. Staff training and information available in Clinton and Essex counties. Temporary emergency refuge for victims; safe dwelling program for Clinton County and Essex County residents; other counties as space is available for eligibles.
