Job Seeker Services: Assessment of Skill Levels, Aptitudes and Supportive Services; Career Counseling; Job Search Placement Assistance; Labor Market Information; Local Job Listings; Information on Supportive Services Assistance for Training and Educational Programs; Internet Job Search Financial Aid Info.

Employment Services: Job Postings; Labor Market Information; Skills Assessment; Outreach Recruitment Services; Applicant Screening Services; Information and Assistance on Tax Credits; Access to Talent Bank; Access t Economic Development Information; Labor Law Information; GED Training and Testing; Skill Training Funds.

A Resource Room and Computer Lab, with Instructor, are both open to the public and free of charge.

Service Eligibility

Youth (ages 14-17) who meet income eligibility guidelines and have a barrier to employment; there is no income eligibility requirement for adults (ages 18+). Center assists area employers and individuals seeking employment or training/skills for advancement in their present positions.

The Center is based on the "One-Stop" concept where information about and access to, a wide array of job training, education, and employment services is available for customers at a single location. The Center is home to the following partners: Career Development Center; Franklin County Department of Social Services, Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES, NYS Department of Labor, North Country Community College, North Star Industries, Green Thumb, St. Regis Mohawk Akwesasne Program, VESID.
