Telephone available twenty-four hours daily

Services Provided

Self-help support group for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings - whose child (ren) has (have) died, and siblings. Compassionate Friends is not a counseling group per se but rather a group in which parents help other bereaved parents understand and deal with their grief.

Newsletter is available and presently is mailed to 70 families.

No dues, religious affiliation, or obligation The Champlain Valley Chapter serves both Clinton and Franklin County families. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the United Way Building, 45 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh. People may submit names to be put on a mailing list for the newsletter.
