Services Provided
Educational services for disabled population, ages 5-21; Programs available: Career Pathways, Developmental/Language Disabled; Emotionally Disabled, Multiply Disabled, Hearing Impaired/Deaf along with related services (Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Assistive Technology, One-one One Aide, Interpreter for the Deaf, Nursing and Itinerant services.)
Service Eligibility
Those persons, ages 5-21, with handicapping condition defined by Part 200 of the Commissioner's Regulations: Autism, Deafness, Deaf-blindness, Emotional disturbance, Hearing impairment, learning disability, Mental retardation, Multiple disabilities, Orthopedic impairment, Other health impairment, Speech or language impairment, traumatic brain injury, Visual impairment; must have prior approval for services from the Committee on Special Education.

Referrals channeled through the local school districts
Fee Schedule
Set: Home districts billed for services for school-aged children;
Comments: County billed for services for pre-school children.
