Services Provided

Designed for anyone interested in breastfeeding. A continuing series of four monthly meetings during which participants receive information and support through group discussion. Lending library and educational materials available. Telephone counseling at any time in an effort to answer questions and through which one can express concerns. Leader also speaks to student groups on request.

Meetings are at Family Connections, the former Plattsburgh AFB Oval on the first Monday of the month at 7 P.M. On Holiday Mondays the group does not meet. Call for the date change in such a case.

Service Eligibility

All persons interested in the art of breastfeeding. Any individual interested in breast feeding information is invited to attend and to receive support and information.

Referral Procedure

Call; leaders and their telephone numbers are posted in doctors' offices, other health care facilities and in public locations.

Fee Schedule

None
Comments: Yearly membership fee of $30. Persons can attend meetings without being a member.

Volunteer Opportunities

Anyone interested in becoming a group worker is encouraged to volunteer.
