Services Provided
Free, confidential one-to-one tutoring in Basic Literacy skills for adults reading below a sixth grade level or requesting GED support or tutor assistance with GED studies.
Provide tutors and/or conversational English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), citizenship preparation
Individual assistance provided in Family Literacy, Workplace Literacy, Computer Literacy along with specialized workshops.
An Agency of the United Way of Clinton and Essex Counties, Inc.
Service Eligibility
Adults over 18 years of age and out of school who wish to improve their reading, writing, spelling or comprehension of Basic Literacy. Speakers of other languages who wish to learn to read, write, and/or speak English as an additional language.

Telephone for appointment to discuss particular needs.

Additional Information
Currently tutoring over 250 learners in Clinton County residents; promoting the cause of literacy through community education. Working in partnership with the Department of Social Services in the Welfare to Work program and assisting underemployed workers to improve their skills in a competitive job market.
