Services Provided
Undergraduate and graduate college programs.
Provides for academic, social, cultural, and extracurricular involvement; active learning occurs in more than 50 major programs, more than 30 minor fields, and in programs tailored to the individual such as internships, work/study experiences, travel, and collaborative scholarly and creative activities with faculty. Students choose a balance of courses in order to develop broad perspectives and marketable competencies; twelve residence halls convenient to the academic center of the campus; off-campus housing is plentiful; unique programs include cellular biochemistry (immersion program) and Canadian Studies; facilities include a modern new library, academic computing center, a distance learning audio/visual teaching/conferencing system, an Art Museum and programs in Art, Music, and Theater. Outstanding college foundation scholarship and grant programs are available.
